Collingwood Trailblazers Basketball Club

The Collingwood Trailblazers Basketball Club is a non-profit volunteer-run organization that provides both competitive and non-competitive basketball opportunities for the youth of Collingwood and the surrounding area.

We have 13 travel teams for 2023-24, with over 150 players ranging from grade 3 through grade 12, that compete against other Ontario Basketball Association teams from across the province. We also offer development programs for children in junior kindergarten and above, with more than 300 participants last year.

Our limited access to gym space is an ongoing issue for our club, preventing both the growth of our club and opportunities for our participants. Without a proper facility, we cannot expand the number of travel teams or the number and scope of our development programs. A multi-use facility would also allow us to host tournaments of significance, which would reduce some of the travel requirements of our competitive teams and serve as valuable events for our community
